Preity Zinta is a well known name in Bollywood. The actress made her own value in Bollywood by giving best and stunning performance in every aspect that people want form her. With lots of Hindi Movies, Preity Zinta has played role in many Telagu, Punjabi and English Movies. She started her career in Bollywood with the movie ‘Dil Se’ at 1998 and one more movie ‘Soldier’ has been released in the same year. Preity Zinta earned Filmfare Award for best female debut for these performances. Before stared her career in Bollywood; Preity Zinta completed a graduate degree in criminal psychology. Preity Zinta is a big fan of cricket and her love about cricket is show on IPL. She is the owner of an IPL team named Kings XI Punjab along with Ness Wadia.
With a military family background, Preity values discipline and punctuality in her life. Her father was an officer in the Indian Military who died in an accident when Priety was only 13 years old. Preity Zinta was a brilliant student and she loves literature, Shakespeare and poetry. After completing her school, she had taken admission in English honors degree in St Bede's College of Shimla. After the graduation she completed her post graduation degree in criminal psychology. Later she jumped to modeling career.

In the movie Farhan Akhtar’s movie ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ she played a beautiful role opposite to Amir Khan. In Bollywood blockbuster ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ she was leading actress opposite to Hritik Roshan. She didi worked with King Khan on ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ and ‘Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna’. When IPL (Indian Premier Leauge) started, Preity Zinta bought a team of ‘Kings XI Punjab’ and for regular events of IPL she regularly supports her team. She was the only women to own an IPL team until 2009.
